Write down the areas of your life you’d like to improve. Trust me, writing (or typing) can help to make the changes you want to make more permanent.
It may sound weird, but write down how that better life not only looks, but sounds, smells, tastes, and feels. Using your five senses engages different parts of your brain and helps adjust your thinking.
Now, don’t just imagine a better life, but an awesome one! If there were literally no limits to what you could do or what dreams you could pursue, how would that life manifest itself?
Didn’t that FEEL a-freaking-mazing! Focus on those feelings. Say aloud what your dream is and how it feels. Example: “Being a New York Times Bestselling Author feels wonderful! It feels delicious! It feels real! It feels fantastic! It feels true! It feels like who I really am!” etc.
Do this exercise daily and you’ll start to feel better. Not only that, you’ll be opening yourself up for better things to come to you. Your dreams can come true, and you’re the one who’ll make that possible!
