Healing Meditation

Today’s Serene Saturday podcast is about healing.

If you have ever suffered from a physical malady than healing that is essential to your wellbeing.

Sometimes the healing may be more emotional in nature, like healing from a loss, like a broken heart.

And since our physical bodies and emotions are so intertwined, our mental state has a huge impact on our health.

Sometimes we can suffer from something and a change to a more positive perspective can fix it.

And sometimes, medical intervention may be necessary.

But whatever you’re need to heal, maintaining a more positive, optimistic mindset can help with the healing process.

I recently began to feel unwell and was diagnosed with an infection.

While I needed medication to heal myself, I am also utilizing methods like meditation to speed things along.

This healing meditation is meant to put you in a receptive state of mind for deep healing.

Before listening to this meditation, be sure to be in a place where it’s safe to close your eyes and focus your attention on my words.

Now, let’s begin.

We will start by first scanning our bodies.

Recline into a comfortable position and close your eyes.

Focus your attention on your feet, ankles and legs.

Notice any discomfort, pain or stiffness in this area.

If there is any problem here, take note of it.

Send that area of your body love and positive energy.

See that part of your body as whole and perfectly healthy.

Pain free.

Now focus on your hips, stomach and lower back.

Notice any discomfort, pain or stiffness in this area.

If there is any problem here, take note of it.

Send that area of your body love and positive energy.

See that part of your body as whole and perfectly healthy.

Pain free.

Now focus on your upper back, neck and shoulders.

Notice any discomfort, pain or stiffness in this area.

If there is any problem here, take note of it.

Send that area of your body love and positive energy.

See that part of your body as whole and perfectly healthy.

Pain free.

Now focus on your arms, wrists and hands.

Notice any discomfort, pain or stiffness in this area.

If there is any problem here, take note of it.

Send that area of your body love and positive energy.

See that part of your body as whole and perfectly healthy.

Pain free.

Last but not least, focus on your head, jaw and every muscle in your face.

Notice any discomfort, pain or stiffness in this area.

If there is any problem here, take note of it.

Send that area of your body love and positive energy.

See that part of your body as whole and perfectly healthy.

Pain free.

Take a deep breath and imagine that a beautiful blue light has appeared in front of you.

It is sparkling with powerful healing energy, and already, you begin to feel a bit better.

You watch as the light splits into three separate spheres.

The spheres enter your body painlessly and disappear, but you can feel their warmth as they move into any area of your body that is less than healthy.

They radiate their healing like a gentle pulse, like a peaceful heartbeat.

Let this light, this amazing energy, heal any part of you that needs it.

Picture any and all pain points within being bathed in this blue healing light.

Tell your body that you love it, even when it hurts, even when you might wish it felt or looked differently than it currently does.

Imagine that beautiful energy melting, dissolving into a million tiny blue sparkles that will stay with you, healing you day by day from now on.

Take a deep breath as you breathe in healing, hold it for three seconds, then let your breath out, releasing any discomfort or pain.

Rest and relax in this incredible healing energy as long as you’d like and when you are ready, open your eyes.
